In the time I should have been working on the game – or doing something else productive… I’ve coded some stupid spam apps. Both of them were coded in Visual Basic and I havn’t spent much time at all on them – I was just bored. I zipped them both and decided to share them with you.
I’ve made a Teamspeak Spammer and a XFire spammer. The XFire spammer spams text very fast and the Teamspeak Spammer connects and disconnects to a givin Teamspeak Server very quickly. Both apps use basic “sendkey” commands.

i installed it, got runtime 5 error too, also downloaded and installed that link u gave me, and still doesnt work
I got the Runtime error 5 thing and i installed the VB thing you had the link to. Its still not working.
I guess I can look into it later.

Hey, did you have any luck getting it working on Teamspeak servers with the spam filters turned up?

can it be cuz of the ocx? wat do we have to do with taht file? maybe firewall? or service pack 2? mmmHELP =)
The ocx needs to remain in the same directory as the exe.
It is NOT a firewall/SP2 related problem.
When do you get the error?
it appears wen u press spam , spamzomg and the other one, basicly iit dosnt let u spam
Noted. If I remember I’ll look into it and I bet I’ll find another file you’ll need to download from Microsoft.
If worse comes to worse, I’ll just port the app to C++.

Anywhoo, you shouldn’t be experiencing that error as long as you have XFire open the the windows open of the person you want to spam (make sure the person’s window was the last one you selected).
Please fix the runtime 5 error or find a solution.

This program doesn’t give you a virus or mess up your computer does it? or erase anything or anything like that?
Nope, I hate that stuff too…
If you want some anti-virus software I recommenced Avast (it’s free and good).

That usually occurs when your internet connection can not support the rate (and order) of the connect and disconnect sequence. It’s a TeamSpeak 2 bug.

Hmm, I’d try to set TeamSpeak’s CPU priority to Above Normal or higher.
I don’t know if that will do anything, but it’s an idea.

Actually i know what the problem was.
Well not really.
But I restarted xfire, opened a chat window, left the Nickname text box blank, left ‘Chat?’ unticked.
In the spam text box I entered this text exactly:
testing ;
And it worked. ;D

well it works.. but not how it should. sometimes it will do the runtime error, but like lets say i do the “Spam ZOMG” it ends up coming out just like this

Yes, this has been posted before; it’s a problem related to some multicore/hyperthreading CPU’s and VB’s sendkeys command.

Works fine for me. Still doesn’t work in chatrooms, even though it looks like an updated version now, or just a better look. Maybe it’s something I’m doing wrong… I click the chat checkbox then click on the chat window and click spam but I get that error.
Also get the runtime error, i read everything here and tried the stuff, doesnt work..
